How does it work?

Power down your motherboard, insert the card into the slot you want to use either ISA or PCI.

Power up the PC. The first thing to look at is the LEDS across the TOP.

If you have VOLTAGE from your power supply, all 12V and 5V LEDs should be LIT UP, except -5VOLTS if your card is plugged into PCI. If your card is plugged into the ISA slot, then all LEDs should be LIT UP.

If you have a CLK LED on, then your motherboard clock gen is running ok.

If you have a OSC LED on, then main board power on signal from power supply is OK.

If you have a BIOS LED (BLINKING or ON), then your board is attempting to POST. Watch the HEX CODES.

If that BIOS LED is (NOT BLINKING or OFF), your BIOS my be bad, erased, corrupt or your board is DOA. If this happens, you motherboard will not display any HEX CODES.

Generally the CODE will be "00" or "FF" for fried boards or dead BIOS. <----READ THIS THREE TIMES

However if you have a BLINKING BIOS LED, then watch the HEX CODES.

PLEASE READ THIS NOTICE:
Even though the board sucessfully BOOTS and you still see a HEX CODE, that does not mean your board is broken.

The HEX code display the LAST ACTION of the bios. If the last thing the BIOS told the motherboard to do was turn on the keyboard interface, then that HEX will remain on the LED readout.

Remote Mounted DUAL DISPLAY! Leave your card installed, and monitor your board
everytime it boots! Place the second LED display outside in the front or in the back of your case!
